An articulated boom can reach vertically and horizontally from that offset position.
Measure the distance between the proposed chassis position and the actual work area. That measurement can be more useful than simply asking for a 10 m, 15 m or 20 m boom.
Access to the work area is narrow
The EWP still has to reach its operating position.
Check doorways, gates, warehouse aisles, corners and turning areas along the complete access route.

If the worksite is open, the boom path is clear and the target sits a long distance from the chassis, a telescopic or straight boom may provide greater horizontal outreach.
